Games | Playing: Pokémon X ---------- Pottermore Speculations

I finished the game yesterday (17th December, Tuesday), now I'm on the exploring part, I did have won 1 battle in Battle Maison, then I did go capture some pokemons I always wanted Honedge, Eevee (to evolve into Jolteon) and I got a mystery gift being Torchic together with his megastone, neat!
I have intentions of collecting all mega evolutions from Pokemon X and fight the 4 sisters.
Yes, I'm having a lot of fun with the game.

Sorry but I kept the boots, I just think are very cool.

Pottermore Speculation

Now about Pottermore, I believe most of fans suspect there is a big chance of the Next instalment of Goblet of Fire will be around this week or Monday 23rd December, my bet is will be about twelve chapters to reach Yule Ball, after all happens on Christmas, I suspect they gonna give special touch on the Yule Ball moment (I do seriously wonder how it will turn out the illustration)  and I'm sure this moment will also be featured at Playstation Home Pottermore.

which chapters I speculate most about which will have exclusive info:
Chapter 12: The Triwizard Tournament - High chance
Chapter 13: Mad-Eye Moody - Very High chance
Chapter 14: The Unforgivable Curses - 50% chance
Chapter 15: Beauxbatons and Durmstrang - High Chance
Chapter 16: The Goblet of Fire - Low chance
Chapter 17: The Four Champions - Low chance
Chapter 18: The Weighing of the Wands - 50% chance
Chapter 19: The Hungarian Horntail - Very Low chance
Chapter 20: The First Task - Very Low chance
Chapter 21: The House-Elf Liberation Front - 50% chance
Chapter 22: The Unexpected Task - Very Low chance
Chapter 23: The Yule Ball - 50% chance

in another words the chapters I think it has the highest chances are the chapter 12 (from how it started the triwizard tournament), Chapter 13 (not hard, bio of mad-eye, maybe?) and Chapter 15 (about the schools).

Anime VS Manga

There is some who watch and read both, others is more reading the mangá than watching the anime and vice-versa, myself I'm more into reading mangá than both of them, when it comes to adaptations.

Some don't read it because of having disabilities or difficulties in reading and others for being lazy, mostly laziness...simply not into reading...even if is small texts.

When a mangá is adapted into anime, usually there is many problems, such being faithful to the manga, having only what's important, it's a rare jewel when it is faithful, it's even more rare when in terms of storyline and character is better than the mangá (but in this case, it's more of matter of opinion), usually I prefer the manga thousand times more than it's animated adaptation, the only exception to me when I prefer the adapted anime than the mangá was Angelic Layer.

One of my favourite animes of all time, I re-watched so many times, 4 times, I believe.

Also there is animes are adapted into mangás, in these cases, I just watch the anime, since the original story comes from the anime anyway and sometimes the adapted mangá changes too much and back away too much from the original story.

I give you few mangás adapted into anime that were horrible animated adaptations: Fruits Basket (way too many plot points left out even from where it ended and changed some plot points, etc, it didn't go to the end, many of us wish a remake and this time faithful to the mangá), Black Cat (they changed the sequences and good amount of the plot, it could be such a good anime), etc.

I'm fine with few changes, as long as is faithful to the plot such as Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (you don't even have to bother in reading mangá, unless you want more few details), Death Note and some others with no fillers or fillers arcs that many times changes or mixes with the plot to the point of making very confusing instead unlike some animes I could mention *cough*Naruto*cough*Bleach*cough*One Piece*cough*Fairy Tail*cough*Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters*cough*etc*cough*

that's it for today :p

Rant: likeable and unlikeable characters to evaluate quality of a game/tv show/book/movie, isn't subjective?

I do always have an issue when people make a review about a game or tv show or film or book or comic book or graphic novel, they write or say for example:

"this A game has likeable characters so it's good" or "This B animated show has dislikeable characters therefore it's bad".

With these examples, that's where my problems resides, a quality of a story doesn't reside if the characters are likeable or not, because people have different opinions on what they consider likeable or not, it's quite like in Harry Potter books and movies, each person who read the books has a different vision of the characters, so of course the actors wouldn't be like exactly or very similar to the character as the readers had in their minds, so the right way to evaluate a character is by analysing and see how well-rounded they are, not if likeable or not.

The purpose of well-rounded characters, it's not with the intention to make the character likeable or glorified or to be a role model but to treat as a person first with flaws, virtues, strengths, weaknesses, vulnerabilities, the amount of resilience, convictions, ideals, not a black-white character but much deeper and complex, more to the character than what meets the surface.

Many people has the bad habit of judging a character or evaluate them basing on what's on the surface of their actions, don't even question why he/she did, when given reasons is:
"because he is a jerk" or "because she is annoying" (each person has a different ideas of what they consider annoying or jerk) and when they say why they think a character is annoying or jerk:
"because it did A,B,C,D,etc.",  but the actions/reactions/personality traits and why he/she did it, that's what a well-rounded character is. Remember Understanding is different from Liking, understanding a character doesn't mean you like the character.
It's noticeable likeable and dislikeable is a matter of a personal subjective opinion and not an evaluation.
If the characters are well-rounded or not, it's an evaluation.

there is many well-rounded characters I dislike, Umbridge, Voldemort, Amon, Lucius Malfoy, "Father" Homunculus, etc.
as much there is many well-rounded characters I like and love, Atemu/Atem"Yami No Yugi", Yugi Mutou, Harry Potter, Izayoi Aki, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Azula, Aqua, etc...(yeah, too many to list).

also there are few well-rounded characters which I feel indifferent or like and dislike, Snape (sorry fans, but he is in my like and dislike list, in another words, in the middle :p), Mazaki Anzu (same with Snape), most of the Homunculus, etc.

I hope I was clear :).

Pottermore News: Gilderoy Lockhart Exclusive info Out

On Valentine's Day Moment - Zoom in and Click in Gilderoy Lockhart, TA-TA-TAM...

I gotta say, his Exclusive is quite interesting, he was a Mommy's boy (not hard to understand why, it was the only one of her children that was a wizard) and clearly very spoiled.
Gilderoy always looked like the lazy type despite being talented and clever, he has thirst of learning as would be beneficial to build his fame, the recognition he desired.
As for his magical skills that were good but become rusty beyond repair, that's quite understandable... if you look for his type of being Cherry:

Cherry

This very rare wand wood creates a wand of strange power, most highly prized by the wizarding students of the school of Mahoutokoro in Japan, where those who own cherry wands have special prestige. The Western wand-purchaser should dispel from their minds any notion that the pink blossom of the living tree makes for a frivolous or merely ornamental wand, for cherry wood often makes a wand that possesses truly lethal power, whatever the core, but if teamed with dragon heartstring, the wand ought never to be teamed with a wizard without exceptional self-control and strength of mind.

also dragon heartstring being one of the most prone to accidents, so I think it's when the fame started he lost it, then becoming his skills rather rusty, no wonder he was such a useless teacher.

Despite the confirmation on him being Ravenclaw, some of the house were quite disappointed and surprised, he has many traits that are Ravenclaw, intelligence, talent, desire of learning as long was profitable, inventive (the hair-care system as one of his special abilities says enough) and eccentricity at it's highest with some few worst traits of Slytherin and Gryffindor - to go to any means to achieve his goals even if is unethical and morally wrong and quite a big ego (show-off), having more traits in Ravenclaw and the good traits mostly Ravenclaw.
in my opinion, the funniest thing about Lockhart, his egocentricity is very eccentric in a very funny way, so many moments of his biography is very funny just of how overconfident he was when come to Hogwarts and then discover pretty much everyone had similar or same experiences of noticeable of magical abilities, just the stories of his eccentricity is very funny, I can easily imagine it.
I did enjoyed read his Exclusive, is the most amusing and funniest Character Biography so far.

Pottermore News: 1st Instalment of Goblet of Fire to all members of Pottermore

so it was at midday, so I'm kinda quite happy despite my sinusitis on the move (ugh), the irritating rain mood changes (typical of Autumn), the day did go fairly well.
On topic of the title, today it came out the first instalment of Goblet of Fire with 3 new exclusives, surprisingly with 11 chapters, I wasn't counting on that in a good way, I thought that would be 7 or 8 chapters, as for the speculations it will be after write about the exclusives...

J.K. Rowling Exclusives:

The Floo Network
that's was one of the exclusives I didn't expected, specially with new feature additions, such on J.K. Rowling Thoughts where she tells a story of an accident about a witch called Violet Tillyman in audio clip and under it the transcript of the audio clip, I think it was very thoughtful of Pottermore and put it that way, mostly for people with some difficulties and also for special way for mostly everyone on J.K. Rowling speaking in the audio clip.

The Portkey
From the description, the Portkeys on a pre-arranged time, another interesting fact, it can cause nausea, giddiness and worse, it had to be expected, like Harry described it feels like a hook behind a navel, well it has to be unpleasant and someone feel kinda bad...

Colours
Interesting symbolisms with colours, by the way, I was never fan of purple and green, my favourites being about more of the houses (I'm pretty much Ravenclaw then, my favourite element is air and colour is blue, I'm starting to like bronze, it's a humble colour, silver sounds quite fancy even though I like the coulour) and Hagrid and Dumbledore connections in alchemical symbols of their first names of Harry seeking of father figures, so that was very interesting and really beautiful.

Now speculations, I think we can imagine to be missing 3 parts, another words, divided in 4 parts, that much can be confirmed, 1 of the missing instalments be around 7 or 8 chapters, the other 2 around 11 to 12 chapters.
launch speculations, 2nd will be probably around November or December (Highest chance), 3rd around February or March, 4th would be May or June...

to finalize, I finally filled completely the Story Navigator Bar, the hardest for me was the Knight Bus and I'll show you one of my favourites artworks on this first instalment :

Other Favourites Moments: list: The House in the Hill (it's so beautiful and kinda spooky, the art, I'm thinking of putting as a cover of Facebook on Halloween), The Misty Moor and Camping Site (included one of my favourite parts of this chapter which is quite hilarious).

One of the things I love about Pottermore besides the exclusives it's surely the artworks on scenes that were never shown in the movies and see the versions of scenes following faithfully the books and beautifully done.
It would be very neat if in the future would come an artbook of Pottermore with commentaries of the staff and crew and J.K. Rowling.

Pottermore & Harry Potter: Hogwarts Houses and The Sorting Hat

This is quite a polemic issue, specially on Pottermore, complaints of the fans about the sorting hat...
even though I disagree with most of them, big text beware.

I think it get mostly right, it's all about probabilities and pathways, the choices you make, some say some questions didn't make sense and totally unrelated such as dusk and dawn, I think it can relate more than you think, for example, I'm pretty sure dusk is more connected with Slytherin (the night coming, their common room is the darkest one) and Ravenclaw (how is the light in the common room is enough, the ceilling being full of stars, more neutral and calm) while Gryffindor and Hufflepuff is more connected with dawn, the more sunnier, one is lively and noisy and while the other is quiet and hard-working, both optimistic.

Pottermore - Playstation Home, new locations!!

most of you must already know (who uses pottermore and playstation home) about the new location, you can go to your own common room, explore the great hall and have charms class practice wingardium leviosa, you're able to buy a house in Hogsmeade (but you can't explore Hogsmeade you just have it's view  from window).

I have to say that from most part I like, but I have a few complaints and complaints about complaints.
some of my complaints would be about for example, I think it should be possible go to the dormitory not just the common room, the dormitories is technically a part of it, between the 4 houses is 2 towers and 2 close to the great hall...the other still remains, I think after the sorting ceremony, it should be given change of color in the robes and tie from grey to the color of their houses, so you don't, you have to buy it.

the Hogsmeade house, I heard a lot of complaints and some of them quite unnecessary, but I have to disagree, I do kinda agree with the restrictions, if this is supposed your character living house of Hogsmeade, the only wizarding village, logically has to be decorated and wearing it for the spirit of the books itself and it's meaning and not to someone's personal liking (for that you have your own apartment in Playstation Home), to see more like how a house of a wizard looks like usually.

I'm glad you can't still explore Hogsmeade in Playstation Home yet, because that would be unfair for those who don't own a ps3, in my opinion, some wizarding locations should start from the pottermore website first.
Now for example, Hogwarts grounds, I hope will come soon, it would be cool to see Quidditch Pitch, Owlery, Forbidden Forest, the moving staircases, etc...
another cool thing that would be cool (lol), like Book of Spells, have the chance to make potions with Move (I think it would be much easier to make potions xD, though I don't have much problem with it), Transfiguration, etc. I still don't own Book of Spells, wish I could though.

putting the little problems aside, able to explore your own common room (it's really neat, it's very well detailed as much Hogwarts Express, Diagon Alley and the Great Hall), but for you to enter it, you must have Pottermore account and got through chapter 7 (in another words, after the sorting ceremony),
I see what you did there... ;), this must be one of the strategies, to have new users into pottermore and maybe give incentive those who haven't read books to read it and come back again.

Pottermore Facebook is starting giving trivias, I know what this usually means :), it means the last instalment of Prisoner of Azkaban isn't very far now...(probably at the end of June or middle of July.

Cool Pottermore News

Pottermore FB Page, Twitter and Pottermore Insider announced Teaser Questions starting tomorrow at 17:00 GMT on Facebook and Twitter, Pottermore Insider at 16:45 GMT...

These Teaser questions will be visual and audio from 15th March to 24th March...

According to Pottermore Insider:
The next instalment of Chapters Eight to Fifteen promises even more mystery and intrigue, and in anticipation of this we’ve devised a series of audio and visual Teaser Questions based on details from the upcoming Moments on Pottermore.com
Starting tomorrow, Friday March 15, a Teaser Question will be posted every day for the next ten days at 16:45 (GMT) on the Insider and at 17:00 (GMT) on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
These will increase in difficulty each time: some will challenge your attention to detail, some will require a good knowledge of the book, and some need only imagination and wild guesswork.
Before trying the Teaser Questions, read the tips below for how best to tackle them:
One – things are not always what they seem in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and nor are they in our Teaser Questions.
Two – look out for hints here on the Insider, and on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
Three – get help or help others by joining the conversation and sharing your thoughts, whether in the Great Hall, your common room, or on our Facebook and Twitter pages. If you follow us on Twitter, you can use the hashtag #pmteasers.
Four – consult your copy of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban to jog your memory or provide inspiration.
For now we are keeping the answers a secret, but all will be revealed soon enough.
Good luck.
I'm quite excited, because I think it's neat for them give teaser questions before the release to discuss about the questions during this 10 days, keeps us entertained before the release of the next instalment...since Teaser questions ends in 24th March, then maybe Monday 25th or Tuesday 26th will release part 2 of Prisoner of Azkaban.

talking about the 2nd instalment, it will be about 8 chapters, it's one more chapter than I expected, I thought would be in the last instalment, but there's more meaning to it than it looks...
2nd instalment will be consisted of Chapter 8 to Chapter 15, Chapter 15: Quidditch Final, right before chapter 16, "Chapter 16: Professor Trelawney's Prediction" , the 2nd instalment finishes a chapter before the book hits it's climax, I see what you did there...

Rant | Analysis: Difference between Harry Potter fans and fans of the movies

Read it if you like Harry Potter, it's a wake up call.

Yes, it's complain about who claim being "fans of harry potter" when they haven't read the books, but also attitudes of the actual fans towards this kind of "fans of harry potter" (also the competitive ones) and the ones who "rolls their eyes and thinks *this crap again*, just because someone just watched the movies doesn't make them less of a fan, because you read the books doesn't mean you're better than everybody else" (those are the ones who annoys me well, because you're incorrect and not understanding the real fans point).

My only few problems with those who claim being "fans of Harry Potter" and haven't read the books, just watched the movies, because they loved the movies. you're not fans of Harry Potter in general, you're fan of the Harry Potter Films and nothing else. I may have sound rash,here is a example...
 if you said "I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter movies!", then yes, it's more than welcome, but if you say "I'm a big fan of Harry Potter but I haven't read the books and not interested!" and here is my reaction:
in another words, I'm not okay with that.
I hope the ones who rolls their eyes, understands what we fans meant is this, that's why we get pissed for the reasons mentioned above, it's not for the sense of superiority or think we're better fans or greater fans than the ones who just watched movies, our problem is who claim to be fans when they're fans of the movies, put simply, we just hate when they say they're fans of harry potter in general instead of fans of the movies.
when you say "fans of Harry Potter", means in general and not specific to 1 section, because it's as if they say it being Harry Potter fans as if Harry Potter are movies only, when we all know it's a fantasy literature while the movies is just an adaptation of the books (the same for video games, except the ones of exclusive of JKRowling like the Book of Spells(just so you know, Pottermore isn't a videogame, so I'm not including it in the video game list).
So who love the movies and never read the books and consider themselves fans, you are fan but FANS OF THE MOVIES. If you only watched the movies and you are fan of them, say you're fan of the movies.
Fans of Harry Potter, correct them when it happens and explain why and don't be rude.
I hope this cleared up some confusion!

Regarding the competition between some stupid actual fans, who behaves like children discussing who likes more the hero in the playground, being a fan isn't a competition, making it a competition makes forgetting what you love of what you're fan of, people have different ways of display their love for the series, such as reading and making analysis of characters, locations, the story, the themes being explored, others collecting items and books of Harry Potter merchandise or decorating your house or bedroom with Harry Potter stuff, making role-playing, writing fanfics, draw and making fanarts, create RPG of pen and paper, discuss and talk with other fans by gaining and see and learn from new different perspectives, etc.
See? don't be harsh to those who are being competitive, just make it clear, being a fan means love over story  or character or animals with different ways of displaying their love for it.

I hope made my point and message understood to fans of harry potter, fans of harry potter movies and the ones who rolls the eyes and say "this crap again"

Rant: Strong Female Characters

Hello, yes, it's a rant about it, it's some complaints I have about it in some sections.

I do love mostly strong cisgenderly female characters, if there is androgynous, the better, the variety, the better.

my problems is that in some cartoons, animes, comics, movies, mangas, mostly anime and manga and video games, strong female characters tend to be stereotypically treated...most of the times it's always the sexy and attractive or beautiful woman with much less clothes, or loli and moe or tsundere  or "boyish" traits, not much variety or relatable, from what I know, there is some I know it has a good variety, Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, Fruits Basket, Otomen (specially male characters, which is great), Shugo Chara, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Tekken, Kenishi: The Mightiest Disciple, Code Geass, Black Lagoon.
Shoujos is so rare to have decent female characters, they are very repetitive, in special the main characters, I was fortuned to find good main female characters, like Beauty Pop, Tonari No Kaibutsu-kun, Shugo Chara, Switch Girl, Watashi Ni xx Shinasai...

that's my only complaints regarding the subject, even though there is many with good female characters but compared to the rest, it makes the many few...I'll tell you what's the problem with the stereotypical ones, they first think as a "girl" then is a "person", when it should be the other way around, that's why books, animated series, series, films that has good females characters always go for think of the character as a person first and then you can worry about it's gender (whatever which is).

it's a wake up call, give more variety in characters (I'm including males) would be nice.

now series, films which has good and great female characters and a nice variety:

the ones mentioned above regarding manga and anime and games...;
  • Harry Potter;
  • Game of Thrones (I never watch or read it but I heard a good deal);
  • Avatar The Last Airbender;
  • Legend of Korra;
  • The Mentalist;
  • The Big Bang Theory;
  • Brave;
  • Mulan;
  • Tangled;
  • Princess Mononoke;
  • Howl's Moving Castle;
  • The Secret World of Arietty;
  • My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic;
  • etc.
there it goes, I think many of you understand what I mean, right?
I hope it comes great characters in future with more variety

Here is my list of my female characters...
Mangá&Anime:
  • Olivier Mira Armstrong (Fullmetal Alchemist)
  • Kino (Kino No Tabi)
  • Kiri Koshiba (Beauty Pop)
  • Izayoi Aki (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's)
  • Amu Hinamori (Shugo Chara)
  • Hawkeye (Fullmetal Alchemist)
  • Machi Kuragi (Fruits Basket)
  • Shizuku Mizutani (Tonari No Kaibutsu-kun)
  • Kujaku Mai (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
  • Saki Hanajima (Fruits Basket)

Video Games:
  • Aqua (Kingdom Hearts)
  • Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII)
  • Leo Kliesen (Tekken)

Animated series:
  • Korra (Legend of Korra)
  • Azula (Avatar The Last Airbender)
  • Toph Bei Fong (Avatar The Last Airbender)
  • Asami Sato (Legend of Korra)
  • Lin Bei Fong (Legend of Korra)
  • Katara (Avatar The Last Airbender & Legend of Korra)
  • Tylee (Avatar The Last Airbender)
  • Zhalia Moon (Huntik)
  • Sophie Casterwill (Huntik)
  • Twilight Sparkle (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)
  • Pinkie Pie (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)
  • Rainbow Dash (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)
  • Lor (The Weekenders)

Films, series, books, comics:
  • Hermione Granger (Harry Potter)
  • Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter)
  • Ginny Weasley (Harry Potter)
  • Lily Evans Potter (Harry Potter)
  • Narcissa Malfoy (Harry Potter)
  • Professor McGonagall (Harry Potter)
  • Princess Merida (Brave)
  • Mulan (Mulan)
  • Teresa Lisbon (The Mentalist)
  • Alex (Modern Family)
  • Claire (Modern Family)
  • Leslie Winkle (The Big Bang Theory)
  • Rapunzel (Tangled)
  • Belle (Beauty and the Beast)
  • Gretel (Hansel and Gretel Grimm's Fairy Tale)
  • Vesper Grey (Plume)
  • Anya (Phoenix Requiem)
  • Arietty (The Secret World of Arietty)
  • Vanellope Von Schweetz (Wreck-It Ralph)
If you have noticed, the smallest list is Anime & Mangá (imagined if was divided in 2? it would become much smaller) and the video games. As you see, it's very hard for me to like a female character, even if there is many good females characters, but it's still not enough, I'm very picky.

Pottermore after the 1st instalment

I think who have finished the current chapters of Prisoner of Azkaban in Pottermore have already read this:

I remember the 1st time they did this, it actually less than you think when they say in the coming months, it will be in 2 or 3 months or even 1, but will be probably in 2 months, so I think among February will come out the 2nd Instalment (they did the same with Chamber of Secrets transition from 1st to 2nd instalment, the first was released on 11 July and 2nd was September 18).

as I have told you about my suspicions of how many each instalment will be divided as 7+7+8=22 chapters.
I only got one right which exclusive content would come out in the 1st Instalment, the Knight Bus.

So will be my speculation which exclusive content will come out (speculations, they are speculations not information),so if we go according to the divisions, will be chapter 8 to chapter 14 :

Chapter 8: The Flight of the Fat Lady
I think this will may have exclusive content about the Fat Lady or the paintings being able to move even move to other paintings, now that we started with Sir Cadogan.

Chapter 9: Grim Defeat
I'm sure it won't have none, unless would be about broomsticks.

Chapter 10: The Marauder's Map
I'm sure Hogsmeade will be unlocked in this chapter and also am sure like everyone else suspects that locket in the left superior corner of the screen, it's Hogsmeade and I'm sure we're gonna have also exclusive content about or one of the stores (highest is The Three Broomsticks and Honeydukes), about the Marauders? I doubt it, or is in the last instalment or in the Order of the Phoenix. I think we may have a cool experience with the Maurader's Map, not only in this book but also in the future with it.

Chapter 11: The Firebolt
I doubt there will be any exclusive content, if there will be, maybe Professor Trelawney, even I don't think would be this chapter some exclusive content about her, it would be the last instalment or Order of the Phoenix.

Chapter 12: The Patronus
I know there is lots of fans who think will be here we all gonna have our own patronus, I doubt it. The reasons are first, this is an reading experience, Harry's Patronus is important in the book, I think we are not gonna have our own yet, I think will be in the Order of the Phoenix when the D.A. learns the patronus, so don't have your hopes up, we may have exclusive about the Patronus or Professor Lupin or none.

Chapter 13: Gryffindor VS Ravenclaw
None, unless something about Quidditch, which I doubt.

Chapter 14: Snape's Grudge
If would have exclusive content, it had to be about Snape, but I so doubt it, if it would, it has to be in the Deathly Hallows in Prince's Tale chapter or something about Zonko Store or none.

I hope you liked and agree, you can open speculations by leaving a comment.

Rant - Analysis: Fascinating Characters

Characters always give different feelings, understandings and thoughts, whether we like them or not.
Some people can get confused about their feelings about some characters...
You can dislike a character but still respect and find the character fascinating at the same time, I know it because I have many characters I dislike and hate and still respect a lot and think they are interesting to watch, see and read.
there is even those we don't mind but we find interesting, just because you find fascinating a character doesn't mean you like them.
the usually kind of characters we find fascinating, they are very complex, makes you wonder, makes want to discover more and understand more about them, it's what make great characters, having weaknesses and strengths, their worst and best, their questions, their views, their background story,what makes them the way they are, etc.

I'll give you the list of character I really dislike and hate but has my respect and I have some fascination for them:
- Lord Voldemort/Tom Riddle
- Professor Umbridge
- Lord Ozai
etc, don't remember more now, lol...

now the ones, I just don't mind but also good and great characters:

- Severus Snape
- Misaki Anzu
-etc, don't remember more...

the ones I love:
- Princess Azula
- Prince Zuko
- Toph
- Hermione
- Ron Weasley
- Pharaoh Atem
- Yugi Mutou
etc...

Rant: Shipping

I know what you may be thinking, I'm gonna bash or defend shipping, it's both and none of it.
If you don't know what shipping is...it's being fan of pairings even if is non-canon(not official, impossible, technically, it's pretty much like inside a fandom there is more fandoms (shippings).

there is cool and fun stuff about shipping but also there is uncool, stressing, annoying and problematic.
